Harriet Almira Finch

Married Rufus M Finch in 1853 in Binghamton, Broome Co., NY. Mother of 6 sons.

  Mrs Rufus Finch, nee Harriet A Patchen, died Monday evening, May 28, at the home of her son, Arthur Finch.  She was born on June 29, 1834, in Binghamton, N. Y.  There she was married to Rufus Finch in 1853.  To them were born four sons all of whom survive.  Mr. and Mrs. Finch came to Northwood in 1866 and settled on a farm a half mile north of town.  They were both favorably known to the earlier settlers.  Mrs. Finch lived the Christian life and died a Christian's triumphant death.  The sons who loved her so tenderly wish herein to express their thanks to friends and neighbors for many acts of kindness in connection with their bereavement.  The funeral services of deceased were conducted by Pastor Curran, Tuesday p. m.
