Harriet Ruth “Peggy” Smith

Kelly Preston’s paternal grandmother was Harriet Ruth “Peggy” Hampton (the daughter of Milton Earle Hampton, Sr. and Ruth Adele McConnel). Harriet was born in Washington. Milton was the son of Denis Cogla Hampton and Harriet “Hattie” Bennett. Ruth was the daughter of Edward F. McConnell and Mary Tennessee Griggs.
