Hi Joy,

I had a look through the GRO website, which has British birth registrations, and now allows you to search by mother's name. https://www.gro.gov.uk

I was able to identify Thomas and Ann's other children either side of 1846 using her surname Poulter (one had it as Poutter), but was not able to find Harriet. The children were all born in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire (Vol. 07).

My guess then is that either Harriet wasn't registered for some reason, or her mother's name was transcribed wrong. There is a Harriett (mother's name Raggett) and a Harriet Elizabeth (mother's name Cranston) who were born at this time, 1847 and 1848.

Unfortunately, the only way to say for certain would be to order the records.
