The Naples Record Wed Aug 9, 1944 Branning-Wise Miss Nellie B. Wise daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin O. Wise of this village, became the bride of Harry R. Branning formerly of Binghamton, on July 27, 1944, in the First Presbyterian church in Montrose, PA. Rev. Whm Grosvenor performed the ceremony. The attendants were Mr. & Mrs. Henry Whitney, the latter a sister of the bridegroom.

1951 Harry R. Branning, formerly of Binghamton died Sat morning at his home in Atlanta, NY. He is survived by his wife Nellie, two daughters, the Misses Martha and Linda Branning all of Atlanta, his mother Mrs. Bertha Branning of Binghamton, a sister Mrs. Henry H. Whitney of Binghamton and several aunts and uncles. (Atlanta is 80 mi NW of Sayre in Steuben Co. near N. Cochocton, NY)
