

The Piedmont Herald, June 10, 1904-
- Messrs N. R. Smoot, H. H. Mansbach, Washington Montgomery, C. M. Lewis and Geo. T. Goshorn Jr. attended the confederate Decoration Day exercises at Romney last Friday. While there, Mr. Mansback was presented with a "Southern Cross" by the Daughters of the Confederacy, of which Mrs McCardy is president and Mrs John Cornwall is secretary.
