US Federal Census 1850, 1860, 1880, 1900 and 1920. Living in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1900 with wife and one daughter and two servants. Living in Freeport, NY in 1920 with wife. Both his parents were from Germany, obviously from a wealthy family. He was born in Dec 1851 in New York.
Died age 76 in Rockville Center, Long Island. Retired clothing manufacturer and former Republican leader in Cincinnati, Ohio. Survivors were wife, Sophia, brother Gus Rosenbaum, and daughter Edith Louise Rosenbaum.
Legal name was Henry. He was one of seven children born to "Fred" and Babette Rosenbaum, both born in Bavaria. The family lived in New York in the early 1840s, then in Alabama when Martin was born in 1846, then back in New York in 1850, then in Ohio, then back in New York at least in 1852, and thereafter in Ohio.
