I was told that Harry was not the biological son of Alice and Jacob, but there is no proof of that. Harry was somewhat intellectually challenged, although he served in the army during World War I. He could not live alone, so he lived with his father (and later, with his father, stepmother, and brother) until the father and stepmother died, then he and his brother, Lou (Louis Leader Sheler) lived together.
Harry is buried in the Granstrom family plot in Winchester Cemetery, Byron Center, Michigan. The plot is the final resting place for Lou's sister, Alice Sheler Granstrom, as well as two of Alice's children, Ernest Louis Granstrom and Wrenn Granstrom.
