Harry Torontow

TORONTOW, Harry On Thursday evening, October 9th, he slipped away in his sleep. Last August, he celebrated his 105th birthday. He was the beloved husband of his first wife, the late Sarah (nee Gottbank) and his second wife, the late Sarah (nee Lazarus). He is survived by his 2 loving children, David (Dorothy) and Ray. He will fondly be remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank St. on Sunday October 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Hillel Lodge, Long-term Care Foundation, 10 Nadonly Sachs Private, Ottawa, Ontario K2A 4G7.
