The Annales Metenses records that "Hunaldus dux” deceived “germanum suum nomine Hattonem" to visit him “de Pictavis” and blinded and imprisoned him[45]. m [WANDRADE, daughter of ---. The charter of Charles II "le Chauve" King of the West Franks dated 30 Jan 845 (possibly spurious, as explained in the Introduction) names "Vandradæ comitissæ" as "matris sui progenitoris" when referring to "Vandregisilus"[46]. Her name has not been corroborated by other primary sources consulted.] Hatto & his wife had [three] children:
