In 1900, Hazel, age 1, was living with her parents & brother, Elwin, in the town of Portland, Chautauqua County, NY.
In 1910, Hazel was living with her parents & siblings in the town of Pomfret, Chautauqua County, NY.
February 17, 1980---Date for brother Francis's death; Hazel was living in Silver Creek, NY.
Hazel had been a member of the Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, as well as its Altar-Rosary Society. Also, she was a member of the Mt. Carmel Social Club, and the Silver Creek Senior Citizens.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Victor F. Metzger; 4 brothers -- Francis, Harvey, Harold & Elwin Pangborn; and, by 3 sisters, Mildred Storey, Vera Pangborn, and Fern Estes. Hazel was also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
