The Monday, December 27, 1993, edition of the Janesville Gazette contained the following obituary (page 2B, col. 1):

ORMSBEE, HAZEL M.

Janesville -- Hazel M. Ormsbee, age 89, died Friday, December 24, 1993, at the Janesville Health Care Center. She was born December 28, 1904, in Janesville, the daughter of the late Charles I. and Nina Mae (Bullock) Ormsbee. She lived her entire life in the home of her birth at 750 S. Main Street. She retired from Parker Pen Co. in 1967 and was a lifelong member of Cargill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 2 nieces, Barbara (John) Glass of Walworth, Wisconsin, and Karen Ormsbee of Delavan, Wisconsin; and a nephew Donald (Margaret) Ormsbee of Janesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Loren and Glenn Ormsbee, and a sister, Marion Ormsbee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28 at the Whitcomb Funeral Home (formerly Wolfgram-Henning), 220 S. Academy St., with Rev. Scott Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
