Obituary-Big Sandy News, Wendnesday, 07 April 2004 Hazel Christine Stapleton, 71, of Tutor Key, died Monday, April 5, 2004 at Highland Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Born March 21, 1933 in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and lorena Howard Williams. survivors include her husband, Curtis Stapleton Sr., of Tutor Key; four sons,C urtis Stapleton Jr., of Tutor Key, Frank Stapleton of Bokelis, FL, Calvin Stapleton of Beckley, WV, and Hansford Ray Stapleton of Paintsville; Three daughters, N ina Hall of Paintsville, and Letha Vanhoose and Amanda Reed, bothof Blackwood, NJ; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Friday, April 9, at Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Hollie Jay Vanhoose officiating. Burial will be in Curtis Stapleton Cemetery, Tutor Key, Under direction of Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville, KY.
