About Heilwig
m HEILWIG, daughter of --- (related to Ulrich Bishop of Augsburg] (-12 Nov or 22 Jan
). The Brunwilarensis Monasterii Fundatio names "Helywiga" wife of "Hermanni comitis palatine…cognomente Pusillus", but does not give her origin[355]. Her possible relationship with Ulrich Bishop of Augsburg is based on the Brunwilarensis Monasterii Fundatio naming her son Ezzo as "sancti Udalrici episcopi...consanguineus"[356]. Speculation on the precise family relationship is fruitless considering the broad scope of the term “consanguineus”. The Memorienbuch of Köln St Gereon records the death "II Id Nov" of "Helewich comitissa uxor palatine horum beneficio habemus Grieneswilere"[357].

Several of the men suggested as fathers of Heilwig are chronologically impossible, i.e Hucbald II , who died in 909 is one often given. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Biografi - Biography

Hucbald is the father of Manegold I. and his unknown daughter married an Aribo von Werd. It is not proven and seems also unlikely that the "von Dillingen" line are ancestors of Ezzo
