of Worcester and Fitchburg, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital,Worcester, shortly after being admitted.

Her husband of 62 years, Walter G. Banach, died Oct. 1.

She leaves

a son, Walter S. Banach of Sutton; five daughters, Arline B. Stratford of Sutton, Elizabeth F. Marsland of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Diane L. Santolucito of Gilford, N.H., Terry M. Leyden of Worcester and Barbara A. Harbora of Tabernacle, N.J.; two brothers, Joseph F. Pietrzak of Auburn and Chester S. Pietrzak of Worcester; a sister, Blanche F. Daigle of Worcester; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Joseph S. and

Czeslawa (Burzynski) Pietrzak, and lived there before moving to

Worcester in 1920. She moved to Sutton in 1942.

Mrs. Banach was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

The funeral will be tomorrow from Henry Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
