Helen Bates

Helen was the biological child of Otto and Vera Perkins, Walter's brother and sister-in-law. When Vera passed, the twins, Delene and Ledene were adopted by Walter and Effie. Helen and Riley lived Otto part time. Riley lived with Walter and Effie most of the time and was considered their child too. Even though Helen was older, and lived with her father most of the time, we all adopted her and she is our Aunt Helen. That's the way we roll.
