2 July 1547: Charter issued under the great seal of Scotland by which the Queen confirms possession of the thirty-two merk land of old extent of Glengavill and the five merk land of old extent of Heuchheid, both in the lordship of Avondale and sheriffdom of Lanark, to James Hamilton and his wife Helen Cunningham.
