About Helen Elliott
Helen Mendenhall was the fourth child of William Mendenhall and 2nd wife Louisa Dickenson. She was born c. 1866 in South Africa. She married Robert Elliott and had two children, Hilda Constance and Robert Dickinson. She being dead since Jan. 18th, 1900, the children were adopted by her brother Edward George. [A descendant of Hilda’s doubts the adoption as the children continued to use the Elliot name. mez.]
