Helen A. Kane

Helen A. Kane, 80, Lonsdale, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1989, at the Mala Strana nursing home in Lonsdale after a lingering illness. Kane was born Jan. 28, 1909 to Frank and Anastasia (Vakoc) Malecha in Veseli. She attended school in Veseli and lived in Lonsdale all of her life. She married Sylvester Kane on June 1, 1974. Kane was a homemaker and belonged to the rosary society of the Immaculate Conception church in Lonsdale and a member of the Lions Club. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Ed Zika; stepson Harold Zika; and two brothers and sisters. Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 1 at the White Funeral home in Farmington. Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 2 a the Immaculate Conception church with the Rev. Stanely Kozlak officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale.
