Helen Paterson

Biography

Helen was born on 25 Dec 1739 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1] She was the daughter of James Cleaveland and Thankful (Wilder) Cleaveland.[1]

She died after 1 Jan 1822 in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Probate record of Silas Tiffany, Lyme Conn, 1761 settle the matter of a 'bastard child' of the deceased and maintenance and charge of said child. The declaration states that Helen Cleland, daughter of James Cleland, of Colchester, being awarded 37pounds and 10 shillings for 'maintenance and charge of a child born of the body of Helen...'
