Helen Elizabeth Harnish, 87, of
109 N. Mont Valla Ave., Hager-
stown, died Saturday, Jan. 12,
2002, in Hagerstown.

Born March 20,1914, in Leiters
burg, she was the daughter of the
late Roy Brown and Fannie Eliza-
beth Wolfe Rinehart.

She was preceded in death by
her husband, Wilbur Glenn Har-
nish, in 1956.

She was employed by Hager-
stown Shoe Factory; and L'Aiglon
Co.

She was a member of St.
Mark's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two daugh-
ters, Debra Socks of Boonsboro
and Nancy Huntsberger of Hager-
stown; a son, Gary Harnish of
Arvada, Colo.; two sisters, Vivian
Younker of Hagerstown and Eve-
lyn Mohler of Dunwoody, Ga.; a
brother, Raymond Rinehart of
Hagerstown; seven grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 1
p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home,
415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
The Rev. David B. Kaplan will
officiate. Burial will be in Rest
Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends
Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
funeral home.
