Helen Frances Miles Steed, age 90, of Asheboro died Monday, May 17, 2021, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. Mrs. Steed was born May 26, 1930 in Randolph County to Walter and Margie Miles.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Steed was an unselfish and caring lady who loved her grandson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Steed was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Steed, Jr., sisters, Mary Berry, Jewel Wallace, Jessie Assby and Amy Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann Steed Willard of Asheboro, Kathy S. Hasty and husband Jimmy of Asheboro; grandson, Jason Carl Southern.

Burial of cremated remains will be Thursday at 3:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park.
