Mrs. Helen S. Weaver, 74, formerly of New Holland, died Sunday evening at Landis Homes, Lititz R3, where she had been a resident for many years.

She was the wife of George A. Weaver, who died in 1967.

Until her husband's death, Mrs. Weaver helped him run the family real estate and insurance business, Geo. A. Weaver Inc. of New Holland.

She was a member of New Holland Mennonite Church, the New Holland Sewing Circle and had been an active volunteer for the Easter Seals Society and Black Rock Retreat, Kirkwood.

Born in Ephrata Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Seiple Mellinger.

She is survived by a son,G.Arthur, New Holland; four grandchildren; one sister, Alta H. Young, Sellersville; and three half brothers: Clyde Mellinger, Wilmington, Del.; Chester Mellinger, York; and George Mellinger, Lancaster.
