July 9, 1984:
I was visiting my aunt-cousin Helen Kittaj. We went happily to talk about olden times and her worries of the present. Then unexpectedly she said, "You will be gone in a few days but at the present I only think of September song and repeat to myself: 'these few precious days', while we are together". I felt deeply touched -- how could I otherwise?
