  • Two women accused of murdering a Sandton City restauranteur were granted bail in the Randburg Magistrates' Court.
  • Maria Sithole (21), of Soshanguve and Lugrancia Shilenge (26), of Mamelodi East did not testify at the hearing.
  • Their legal representatives handed sworn affidavits to the court, which were verified by the investigating officer. Bail was unopposed.
  • They were each granted R1 000 bail by magistrate Deon Pool and were ordered to reappear on 25 January.
