Short History written by Nancy Lavenia Goans Edwards daughter of Hamilton B. Goans at Clinton, Anderson Co, Tennessee,30 Mar 1906: Ezekiel Inman was a native of Maryland. He was born in Maryland. Ezekiel Inman married Hannah Hardee. Their sons and daughters names were as follows:
Susann, Shadrick, Mashack, (p2), Abedniego and William Inman.
These were the children by the first wife, Hannah Hardee.

"Hello, Elisha Inman born c. 1750 Bedford, VA., has not been proven brother of Shadrach and Abednego Inman. Shadrach born 1747, Meshach born 1749 and Abednego born 1752. In records of these brothers there is no mention of Elisha. He may be a cousin but not a brother".
