Henrietta Morgan

When she married Calvin Morgan, Henrietta was a beautiful and slender seventeen-year-old with dark brown hair sweeping to stylish curls, a strong chin, small firm mouth, brilliant eyes, and a resolute expression that revealed the "very determined traits of character and positive convictions" she shared with her wealthy father.

With the death of John Wesley Hunt in 1849, Henrietta Hunt Morgan inherited over $100,000 as well as "Hopemont", her father's magnificent Lexington home, where she lived until her death.
