Henry N. Becker, 81, Napoleon, North Dakota died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Ebenfeld Cemetery rural Streeter, ND.

Henry N. Becker son of Henry A. & Katherine (Lachenmeier) Becker was born October 22, 1933 at the family farm on the Streeter Flats. Henry received his elementary education in the local rural school and helped on the family farm.

Henry was united in marriage to Ellentina Schumaker on November 7, 1954 in Streeter, ND. They made their home west of Streeter, where they ranched and raised Herefords. Henry moved back to the family farm in 1989, where he continued to farm irrigated corn, alfalfa and potatoes with his son, Neal. He resided there until his death. He was very proud to be awarded the North Dakota Centennial Farm Award in 1988. Ellentina passed away October 30, 2014.

Henry passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND with his family by his side. He was 81 years old.

Henry is survived by his sons, Clyde and Neal; two grandchildren; one great grandchild, Miranda Becker; one brother, Leonard Becker; one sister-in-law, Dianne Becker; two brothers-in-law, Berthold Spitzer, Cliff Wagner, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellentina, his parents, three brothers, Roland, Emil and Wilbert “Punch” Becker, six sisters, Viola Grimes, Alice Graff, Annie Eisenbeis, Eldena Rau, Agnes Spitzer and Jean Wagner.
