Marriage announced in the "Empire" of Friday 25 April 1873:

"On the 16th April, at Trinity Church, Molong, by the Right Rev. Lord Bishop ot Bathurst, assisted by the Rev. F. B. Boyce, Henry Samuel Marsden Betts, J,P., of Vale Head, Molong, fourth son of the late John Betts, Esq, of Cloudes- ley, to Louisa Elizabeth, eldest daughter of the late William Finch, Esq., B.A., of Molong."

Death Notice from "The Sydney Morning Herald" of Friday 3 March 1899:

"BETTS.—February 24, at his late residence, Vale Head, Molong, Henry Samuel Marsden Betts, J.P., aged 60, son of John Betts, M.A., Camb., of The Vineyard, Parramatta, and grandson of the Rev. Samuel Marsden, M.A., Senior Chaplain of N.S.W. "
