Original Bill dated 14 March 1823, tried May Term, 1827:
Charles Bollin, Robert Bolling, and Eleanor Bolling, infants under 21 by their next friend William W. Higginbotham recite that in 1814, William Garrison, grandfather of Henry Bolling, who was the father of complainants purchased of William Brown certificate for NW 1/4 of secton 3, T2R1W. Said Henry Bolling died about 11 October 1818 without a will, leaving his widow May Ann Bolling, mother of the complainants. In February 1822, she married Chancy Brown and about Aug 1822 departed this life, leaving the Bolling children her only surviving children, the youngest being the aforesaid Eleanor Bolling. After their mothers death, the complainants were taken to to the house of the aforesaid Higginbotham, brother of their said mother, Their grandfather, William Garrison is old and infirm.
