About Henry Boltz

Civil War - 93rd PA Infantry Aged 81 years Co. F 93rd Regt. PA Vol. Inf.

16 Nov 1908: Henry Boltz, of 430 North Tenth Street, died on Sunday morning between 3 and 4 o'clock at the Good Samaritan Hospital of injuires received by falling down the steps leading to the basement of the Valley House of Saturday morning. He was 81 years old and had sustained a fracture of the collar bone, concussion to the brain and a severe gash above his left eye, losing an amount of blood before his injuries could be attended to.

He was born in Jonestown and had resided in this city for the past 50 years. He enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was a member of Sedgwick Post, No 42, G.A.R. and one of the original members of the old North Lebanon Band.

He is survived by his wife, six children, Mrs. Emma Focht, of Eighth Street, Robert, of North Sixth Street, Philip, of North Lebanon House, Stephen, of 430 North Tenth Street of this city, Charles, of Mechanicsburg, and Clinton Boltz, of Detroit, Mich. A Brother, John Boltz. Of Jonestown also survives. [Lebanon Daily News]
