About Henry Culp, Sr.
Possibly a member of the Mennonite sect. May have converted to Separate Baptist under preacher Martin Kauffman and moved to Ohio with a group of fellow parishoners in the 1801-1805 time frame. They established a church just north of Lancaster, Ohio in Fairfield County. Henry's farm was next to Samuel Comer's farm in Ohio. Samuel was a preacher at this church, and his daughter Magdalene married Henry's son Benoni.
