The Argus 12th Oct.1899- Country News Pg 6
An old resident of Moolap named Henry Earle, 72 years of age, of independent means, died suddenly on Wednesday morning. Deceased got up early, and whilst reading a newspaper, fell back in his chair and died from syncope.
The following entry has been sourced from Moolap street names (I assume that this was compiled in the late 1900's as Henry died in 1899.LB
Earle Rd. - Henry Earle was a farmer living in the vicinity of Moolap Railway Station for several decades last century., so this road presumably perpetuates his family name.
