HENRY J. FELDHAKE DEAD

Henry J Feldhake of Effmgham died Thursday morning, December 4, 1941, at 6:15 at Home on East Jefferson Street.

Mr. Feldhake, who had been in failing health for the past year, was 85 years of age at the time of his death. Surviving are three daughters: Mayme, and Rose of Effingham and Edith of Island Grove; and seven sons: Ed J., Sylvester, Henry W., and Ambrose, ail of Effingham; Herman and Leo of Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, USA.; and Fred of Centralia.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St Anthony Church at Effingham with burial taking place in the parish Cemetery there. Pall-bearers, were: Al Braun, Ambrose Brann, Herbert Feldhake, Charles Feldhake, Leonard Feldhake and Harold Pulsfort, Rev John Gramke, pastor of St Anthony's officiated at the Requiem High Mass.

The following from out-of-town were among those attending the funeral services: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Feldhake, sons Leonard and Daniel, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Feldhake, sons Leo, Charles, Ralph and Paul, all of Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, USA.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Feldhake, daughters Marie, Edna, Ruth and Helen/ of Centralia; Miss Edith Feldhake of Island Grove; Mr: and Mrs. Louis Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Goodman of Mattoon; Mr. and Mrs. John Meyers of Neoga; Miss Evelyn Braun of Springfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Braun of Teutopolis and possibly others whose names we were unable to get.
