It's possible that Henry, his wife, and two daughters came over to South Africa in 1826 - see eGGSA.org, William Shepherd's correspondence, http://bit.ly/mXFHdA ; Henry, however, did not appear to stay in South Africa, assuming the above record regarding his death in 1852 in Clerkenwell, London is correct.
