≤p>Order of Council: March 24, 1835 (Rieds U.E.L List in Archives) ≤/p>≤p>**To his Excellency Sir John Colborne, H.C.B., Lieutenant Governor of ≤/p>≤p> ≤/p>≤p>the Province of Upper Canada ≤/p>≤p>Major General Commanding ≤/p>≤p>In Council ≤/p>≤p>The petition of Henry Jackson, son of Henry Jackson of the Township ≤/p>≤p>of Edwardsburg, County of Grenville and of said province, ≤/p>≤p>Humbly Sheweth ≤/p>≤p>That your Petitioner is the son of a U.E. Loyalist of the Township of ≤/p>≤p> ≤/p>≤p>Mountain, County of Dundas and province..........that ≤/p>≤p>he................of twenty-one yearsof age and has never received ≤/p>≤p>any land..........for lands as the son of U.E. Loyalist from the ≤/p>≤p>Crown, he therefore humbly prays that your Excellency will be pleased ≤/p>≤p> ≤/p>≤p>to grant him two hundred acres of the waste lands of the Crown as the ≤/p>≤p> ≤/p>≤p>son of a U.E.
