Henry William Jacobson

Henry W. Jacobson, 56, Deadwood, lifelong resident of the Black Hills, died 7:30 this morning, Feb 24, 1954, at St Joseph's Hospital following an illness of one year duration.

Jacobson, the son of the late Paulene and Jack Jacobson, was born on Jan 4, 1898 at Terraville.

He grew up to young manhood here and later engaged in ranching in the Boulder Canyon area. Mr Jacobson was not married.

He is survived by four brothers, John and Charles, Deedwood; Alex, Sturgis; and a half brother Emil Ruona, Ft Sheridan, Ill., four sisters, Mrs J. A. Hocanson, Darlington, Pa; Mrs Elmer Olson, Sarles, ND; Mrs Albert Krueger, Wendover, Utah and Mrs Albert Drake, Vale, South Dakota.

A half brother, Walter Ruona, preceded him in death a year ago.
