Henry Walter "Red" Mitchell, Jr.

Henry Walter "Red" Mitchell, Jr., 90, of Pulaski, TN., died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at NHC Healthcare of Pulaski, TN. He was a native of Franklin Co., TN, retired from Salant & Salant and was a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ where he was song leader for 65 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Walter Mitchell, Sr. and Alice Turner Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Richardson Mitchell of Pulaski, TN. Two daughters, Frances Pinckley of Lawrenceburg, TN and Linda Snider of Lawrenceburg, TN. One step son, Terry Richardson of AZ. Three grandchildren. Four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Pulaski Street Church of Christ at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 , with Tom Holland and Jeremiah Tatum officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, TN.
