Born in Camden Dist, SC; mother's name was Jane Darling; as a widow married a Mr Morris.

Henry married 18121814 in Fairfield, SC to Miss Mary Francis 'Pollie Smith; he moved to Hall Co, GA in 1825 and moved to Jefferson, Jackson Co, GA in 1838; moved to Lowndes Co, GA in 1848 [now Berrien] where he operated a general store until his death. His wife Mary Francis 'Polly' died 1831-1851 burial site unknown. They had 9 children as named on his marker at Flat Creek Cem, Berrien Co, GA.
