Henry Witham

EARLY SETTLERS AT SANDY BAY. 835   Henry Witham, son of Thomas Witham, married Kachel Parsons (a widowed daughter, it is supposed, of Jabez Baker) in 1733, and settled in Sandy Bay, near the Grovers, at the south- easterly end of the Cape. He had a large family of children ; became an elder of the church there ; and died March 18, 1777, aged eighty-two
