Biography

Henry Young was born on March 17, 1672 on Cape Cod, on his father's land "Young's Cove," between Eastham and East Orleans, Barnstable, Plymouth Colony, New England. Plymouth and Massachusetts Bay colonies united in 1691, forming the Province of Massachusetts. Henry's parents were Rev. John Young, b. ca. 1623/24 in England, and his wife, Abigail (Howland) Young, b. 1628 in England.

Henry Young married Sarah Snow, b. Feb. 26, 1673, in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts, in about 1694 in Eastham. They had 5 children together before Henry's untimely death on April 26, 1706.[1][2]

Henry Young died in Young's Cove, Eastham (East Orleans), Barnstable County (Cape Cod), Massachusetts, on April 26, 1706. He is buried in the Old Cove Burying Ground, Eastham, Massachusetts.[3]

"Cape Cod Library of Local History and Genealogy" pg. 477 - 478:

John Young came to Eastham before 1659. He was a resident of Plymouth in 1643, and his name appears that year among those liable to do military duty. So far as can be now ascertained, his place of residence was in what was called by the Indians, Pochet or Poche, and now called East Orleans. He was a planter and had but little to do with town affairs while a resident of Old Eastham. He was not of that class called "Town-purchasers."
The old records of Eastham show he was a considerable landholder, and that some of his land was obtained by purchase. He had ten acres at Poche, as early as 1659, adjoining George Crisp's land, the purchase of which was confirmed by the town. His purchase of five acres between Young's Cove and the highway whyt goeth at the end of Richard Sparrow's ground, this year was also confirmed by the town. In 1676, he bought of Thomas Paine, for f9 [9 Pounds], fifteen acres of upland on the westerly side of "Young's Cove."
According to the records, he [John Young] died 25 Jan. 1690, and his wife Abigail, 7 April 1692. No stones with inscriptions mark their resting place. "Goodman" Young died testate and his will is on record at Barnstable. He had eleven children, two of whom died in infancy.
GENEALOGICAL REGISTER of PLYMOUTH FAMILIES, APPENDIX, PART II, page 295:

Research Notes

Robert Fitzgerald's family genealogy says:[5]
John Young and Abigail Howland (This information is taken from the Bridgewater Vital Records and Barnstable Vital Records MA and the achiever from the Sturgis Library, Barnstable MA). Thomas Young came here as a very young man. John left all to his wife in his will.

S942 Abbreviation: RE: wife of Zoeth Howland & early Howland line, Title: RE: wife of Zoeth Howland & early Howland line, , http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=message&r=an&p=surnames.howla... Text: The date of the marriage of Abigail to John Young is in dispute. According to Howland's History, this Abigail married Young on 2 9m [November] 1678, a date not found in any records relating to Abigail and one too late to accord with her being called Abigail Young in her mother's will of 1674. Howland's alleged date is the one found in the Friends Records for the marriage of an Abigail Howland to Richard Keerby (see Abigail, widow of No.2, Zoeth Howland). The names of some of the children born to John Young and wife Abigail (e.g., Joseph, Henry, and possibly Robert) are Howland names and re compatible with a presumption that the mother was a daughter of Henry Howland; but if she were, Abigail was married many years earlier. A likely record of the marriage is the previously cited one in 1684. Extensive information is available on the family, both published and unpublished. A quick review of the Youngs in Plymouth Colony, made by the authors Wakefield and Sherman, suggests that this John is the only Young in the colony likely to be Abigail's husband. CONT Note: This is a decently sourced out report with lots of potential for further study.
