There are six Family Trees with conflicting details as to names and parentage . Only one , in the Carter Web Site , gives Esther Lythgoe born Howarth as his mother . All the others cite Elisabeth Ann Lythgoe born Birks . It is agreed that he had a wife called Zada Lythgoe born Robinson . They appear to have had at least eight chidren .
