Obituary from The Saginaw News Sun Mar 21, 1976 (F9)"Marr, Herbert E.,Michigan Veterans Facility,Grand Rapids, Michigan.Former Saginaw resident passed away early Saturday morning, March 20, 1976, at the Michigan Veterans Facility in Grand Rapids. Age 73 years. He was born May 7, 1902, in Kochville Township and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was engeaged in farming here for many years, before moving to the Veterans Facility about 8 years ago. Surviving are 1 brother and 2 sisters: Norman Marr, Mrs. Edwin (Clara) Wilson and Mrs. William (Elsie) Kelsey all of Saginaw. Two brothers, Arthur and Walter Marr, predeceased him.Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St. Rev. Timothy L. Huber will officiate with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Amelith. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Sunday."
