Herman Scholtz (1960 - 2019)

Brief overview:

Herman (59), was repeatedly stabbed at his Eldoraigne home in Centurion on Sunday morning 10th March, by his gardener Ashley Mazibuko. The neighbours could see him being stabbed in chest, and tried to help him, but the safety gate was locked and they could not get in. Mazibuko told the court he thought he stabbed an animal that night and was referred to Weskoppies hospital for observation. He was found fit to stand trial but Mazibuko has requested bail. Court case to continue. Herman was laid to rest at the Ewige Lig church in Montana Park, Pretoria, after a service scheduled for 11:00.
