About Herman Julius Martin Stache
After an illness of over two week duration of flu and pneumonia, Herman Stache passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Rantoul. Mr. Stache was born Dec. 18, 1898, in Rantoul. Here he grew to manhood, receiving his education at the Rantoul Lutheran School and later assisting his father. In 1924 he was married to Miss Norma Popp and the young folks have lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Stache, on the home farm. His mother preceded him in death six years ago. Survivors are besides his wife, four sons, Alfred, Melvin, Allan and Harold; and his father; two brothers, Otto and William, of Rantoul; and two sisters, Minnie Kluge of Sheboygan; and Ida Koestler of Appleton. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Rantoul Lutheran church, Rev. Moecher will be in charge. Chilton Times – January 26, 1933
