Hermann Jacobi

Hermann Jacobi (born 6 January 1860 in Grodzisk Wielkopolski - German Grätz, died 2 January 1939 in Frankfurt am Oder) - German lawyer and notary of Jewish descent, longtime president of the synagogue community in Frankfurt, Oder. March 17, 1899 married Elisabeth Jacobi from the house of Michaelis, born November 22, 1871 in Berlin. He died in his apartment at Park 2 because of a heart attack and left hemisphere brain damage. It is not excluded that this was an indirect result of the beating during the Crystal Night, which, according to oral reports, took place in his apartment. Bibliography
