Hester Cathrina Lauterbach (1928 - 1993)

Brief overview:

Hester (65), and her husband, Karl (66), a couple from Farm Waterval, Greytown, were ambushed on arrival at their home, on 3rd November 1993. The perpetrators hit Karl over the head, and the couple was forced into their vehicle and driven 40 kilometres away. Karl was found with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. Hester was fatally shot, sustaining three gunshot wounds.
