Hilda Romaine Mummert

Hilda Romaine Mummert, 76, of 120 Grandview Road in Hanover, died Wednesday morning in Hanover General Hospital. She was born in York County, the daughter of the late John and Phoebe Houck Warner. She is survived by her husband Clinton William Mummert; three children: Loretta Bly of New Oxford; Shirley Dayhoff of Hanover and Barry Mummert of Hanover; two brothers, John Warner of Hanover and Richard Warner of Sebring Fla., four sisters, Treza Plunkert of Hartman Ave., Hanover; Mary Strausbaugh of Hanover; Florence Bortner of Sebring, Fla; and Phoebe Berwager of Hanover; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Otterbein Evangelical Church in Hanover, with her pastor the Rev. David B. Latshaw officiating. Burial will be at the St. David's Cemetery.
