Hollis J Allen

Hollis graduated from Bangar High School in 1946 and the University of Maine Law School in 1960.

He was a decorated Army combat photographer in the Korean War, assigned to aerial photo reconnaissance for the 8th Army.

He was a photographic specialist with a high security clearance and was an Army staff photographer for the Atomic energy Commission, Extensively photographing 11 atomic explosions in Nevada before his Korean War service.

Mr Allen practiced law from offices in Monument Square in Portland for 22 years and moved his practice to Yarmouth in 1982. In later years he practiced international law.

He owned and operated Casco Bay Realty since 1965 and was the author of "The Legal Band-Aid", a legal self-help publication distributed in the mid= 1980's.

He was a member of the Maine, Cumberland and York County bar associations and the Maine trial Lawyers Association. HHe was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War, The American Legion and the National Allocation of Atomic Veterans.
