BIOGRAPHY Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, he became a partner in the firm of Coutts & Co., bankers. On 10 June 1914 he married the Hon. Dorothy Charlotte Forster, daughter of Henry William Forster, Governor General of Australia, and they became the parents of a son and a daughter.
Lieutenant, Grenadier Guards, and later Captain, West Kent Yeomanry, he served in the First World War and was killed in action on 4 April 1918. In 1923 his widow married again.
