Honour Torrey

Honour was born after 1686. She was the 8th Child/5th daughter of Timothy Rogers and Eunice Stetson. (Date of Birth estimated between child 7 and 9) [1]

Note: No birth record has been found for Honour Rogers. Her parentage and affirmation of marriage have been ascertained from the will of Timothy Rogers of Marshfield, "Taylor", dated 24 March 1724/5 and proved 5 August 1728, which mentioned his sons, Samuel and John; daughters, Bethiah Rogers, Hannah (sic) Torrey, Eunice Witherell, Mary Carver, and Hannah Lapham;
granddaughter Judith Rogers, wife of Joseph, son-in-law William Torrey and son Timothy, who received the property and served as executor of the estate[2].

Married William Torrey (as his 2nd wife), 12 July 1711 in Scituate, Massachusetts[3].

Honour died, place and date undetermined, after March 1736/7, when her son Japhet drowned[4], and before [her aunt], Joanna Butler, made her will in December of 1745 [5][6]
